As a result, the difficulty of overall heat dissipation and cooling design is exponentially increased. So the design of communication involves not only the challenge of conducting voltage drop, but also the cutting off of reverse voltage. Therefore, the AC115V SSPC system is the latest mature system in the industry, because the aircraft power distribution system (EPDS) usually needs to survive without any physical damage, including when lightning strikes the aircraft, and maintain operation during and after lightning strikes. These are the mandatory requirements and usage characteristics of aircraft system design, so the safety redundancy factor of aircraft is generally high.
