LEM has launched the GHS series of micro integrated circuit sensors, which can measure AC and DC isolated currents with frequencies up to 100kHz. Although these new components are small in size, they can still provide complete isolation, integrate the main conductor, achieve rated current measurement of 10a, 12a, 16a or 20 years, and a measurement range of 2.5 times the rated current, and support overload currents up to 200A.

These sensors are directly mounted on printed circuit boards as So8 surface mount devices, which can reduce manufacturing costs and save a lot of space for space limited applications. The GHS model is simple and easy to use. It integrates low resistance main conductors into ASIC (to minimize power loss), achieving DC measurement and consistent insulation performance, and providing high creepage distance and electrical clearance.

The analog voltage output of all models is proportional to the sensitivity level (40-80mv/a), depending on the model, with a typical response time of 5 μ s. GHS sensors are not simply open-loop Hall effect ASIC sensors. This series of products features a unique main integrated conductor that enables gradient measurement and excellent on-site anti-interference performance in power electronics applications.

These specialized designs integrate field validated technology and programmable internal temperature compensation (EEPROM) to ensure high-performance accuracy across the entire temperature range, with a maximum offset drift of 1.3% and a gain drift of 1.5%. The GHS series is powered by a 5V single power supply and operates within a temperature range of -40 to+125 ℃, making it suitable for any harsh industrial application.
